This is a question we get a lot.  But whether you realize it or not, most weddings end up taking place across 3-4 days.  The Stables at Floyds Fork offers you a "home base" with plenty of seating and flexible food and drink options with a single address. We want to offer you the best experience without the hassle to find and schedule several different event locations across the city with enough capacity for all of your guests.

We've seen the stress finding venues can have and have provided a solution to the following situation:

Thursday afternoon, your out of town family and friends begin to arrive.  They get checked into their hotel and then everyone meets for a drink SOMEWHERE. 

Friday morning, one group heads out to play golf and another group gets their nails done and then they all meet for lunch SOMEWHERE.

Friday evening is your rehearsal and then dinner SOMEWHERE.

Sunday morning everyone checks out of their hotel and before leaving town, goes for brunch SOMEWHERE.  

Our 4-day Wedding Weekend takes away the stress of trying to find the locations and space to entertain your guests, so you can have the peace of mind to make memories for a lifetime!

• Wedding party welcome luncheon?    Of course! 
• Allow your vendors to drop off/setup up to 2 days before your event?    They will LOVE you!
• Kickoff cocktail party?    Let the fun begin! 
• Park your cars in our lot and jump on a bus to the Bourbon Trail or Churchill Downs?    Go Baby Go!
• Pickleball tournament followed by a food truck rally? Game on! 
• Send your family and friends home at the end of the night instead of staying to clean up?    You are their favorite people! 
• Departure brunch before your guests head home?    Absolutely!

Venue tours, vendor meetings and photo shoots are by appointment only. There is no access without an appointment.

As we put the finishing touches on our buildings and grounds, we are offering Builder's Preview Tours.  This means you could encounter typical elements found on a construction site such as dust, dirt, mud, wet paint, slick surfaces and trip hazards. While we do everything within our control to make our site safe, by scheduling a Builder's Preview Tour you acknowledge that you are entering a construction site and release The Stables at Floyds Fork from all liability.

Yes, and this is included with your Wedding Weekend rental! *

*Due to restrictions, client must purchase and pay for the policy.  (Approximately $400).  This amount will be credited towards your second payment.

No, we all you to choose the vendors who provide the right service, at the right price, for you.  If you need help or suggestions, we'll do our best to get you recommendations. Email us your needs at Help@TheStablesAtFloydsFork.com.

The maximum capacity is 225.  

We strongly recommend that you utilize the services of a caterer.  However, we understand that some couples may want a more DIY approach, particularly for the smaller events during your weekend.  If you choose to provide your own food, your Event Liability Policy will cover you in case of issues.

Alcohol must be served by insured and StarCertified bartenders. For specific questions, we can be reached at Info@TheStablesAtFloydsFork.com  

Yes!  

Our indoor spaces and most of our grounds are fully accessible for people with mobility issues.   

Yes!  

We have (2) 700 square foot dressing suites.  As an added bonus, these suites are adjoining (but lockable) and they each lead directly to our private photo studio, so you have all the space and flexibility you could need!  

Yes, and our in-house Day-Of Coordinator is included with your Wedding Weekend rental!   

Their job is to make sure the day goes as you planned.  Our in-house coordinator will:

• conduct an initial planning session and build a planning timeline/checklist
• create a day-of timeline
• attend the 1-month final walkthrough 
• coordinate the rehearsal 
• be on site for the final 8 hours of your wedding day

However, a Day-Of Coordinator is not the same as a Wedding Planner.   A wedding planner helps couples design and orchestrate a wedding from the beginning. They will draw up a budget, find and hire vendors, structure and set timelines for the ceremony and reception, and oversee everything on the wedding day.  

If you prefer to hire your own planner, we will deduct $500 from your final payment (with a copy of the signed contract and their COI).

Yes!  

There are numerous hotels and short-term rentals within a 10-minute drive.

Yes, and this is included with your rental.

We provide a 7-day refund guarantee.  You can secure your date with the reassurance that if, within the first 7 days, you find a venue that better suits your needs your first payment will be refunded.  (Less any processing fees)  On day 8, with the exception of the refundable Damage and Infraction deposit, all payments are non-refundable.
